- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a muffin tin.
- Place frozen tater tots in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
- Press about 1 tablespoon of chopped tater tots into each muffin cup to form a cup shape.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle cheese and bacon evenly into each cup.
- Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese melts.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm with sour cream if desired.
Notes
- Can substitute shredded cheese with your favorite variety.
- Add a dash of hot sauce for extra flavor.
- Make ahead and reheat in the oven for crispy results.
