Crispy baked tater tot cups loaded with cheesy goodness and bacon bits, perfect for game day or party snacking.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a muffin tin.
  2. Place frozen tater tots in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
  3. Press about 1 tablespoon of chopped tater tots into each muffin cup to form a cup shape.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from oven, sprinkle cheese and bacon evenly into each cup.
  6. Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese melts.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm with sour cream if desired.

Notes

  • Can substitute shredded cheese with your favorite variety.
