- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
- Cool on wire racks before serving.
Notes
- For extra chewiness, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
- You can substitute chocolate chips with chunks or white chocolate for variation.
