  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Marshmallows and caramel for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven, top with marshmallows and caramel, then bake for an additional 2 minutes to melt toppings.
