- 1 pound large pasta shells
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, cook until softened.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned; season with salt and pepper.
- Reduce heat, stir in heavy cream and half of the Parmesan. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Mix in cooked pasta shells, mozzarella, and remaining Parmesan cheese. Stir until well coated and cheese melts.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for beef for a leaner option.
- Use rotisserie chicken for a different variation.
