Ingredients

  • 1 pound large pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, cook until softened.
  3. Add ground beef, cook until browned; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Reduce heat, stir in heavy cream and half of the Parmesan. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Mix in cooked pasta shells, mozzarella, and remaining Parmesan cheese. Stir until well coated and cheese melts.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
