- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 (16 oz) package potato gnocchi
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt butter and sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Pour in gnocchi and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and shredded chicken, heat through.
- Season with salt and pepper, then top with crumbled bacon and parsley before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute cooked turkey or ham for chicken.
- For added flavor, include a dash of smoked paprika or thyme.
- Use vegan cream and bacon alternatives for a plant-based version.
