- 1 cup long grain rice
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 lb steak strips, cooked and seasoned
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, cook steak strips until browned and cooked through.
- Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the steak, set aside.
- In the same skillet, stir in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then melt in cheese until smooth.
- Add cooked rice and steak strips to the cheese sauce, mix well.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to add sautéed onions or peppers for extra flavor.
- Best served immediately while hot and cheesy.
