- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions until al dente, drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, then stir in milk and cheese until smooth.
- Mix in cooked pasta, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Transfer to a baking dish.
- Top with breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbling.
Notes
- Use fresh bread crumbs for a crunchier topping.
- Add cooked bacon or jalapenos for extra flavor.
