- 1 large hoagie roll
- 4 slices deli turkey or ham
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- Pickles and sliced onions (optional)
- Olive oil for toasting
Instructions
- Cut the hoagie roll in half lengthwise. Lightly brush with olive oil and toast until golden brown.
- Spread mayonnaise on one side and mustard on the other.
- Layer deli meats, cheese, lettuce, tomato slices, and optional pickles and onions inside the roll.
- Close the sandwich and cut into portions. Serve immediately.
