- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a small bowl, activate the yeast in warm milk with a teaspoon of sugar. Let sit until frothy.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and knead until smooth.
- Cover and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces.
- Shape into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix minced garlic and chopped parsley. Brush the rolls with melted butter mixed with the garlic-parsley mixture.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
- Brush with extra garlic butter before serving for enhanced flavor.
Notes
- For extra fluffiness, allow the dough to rise until fully doubled.
- Can be frozen after baking and reheated.
