- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and mix with sugar until smooth.
- Whisk in eggs and vanilla until well combined.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to wet mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoons of batter onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but the centers are soft.
- Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- For extra fudginess, add an additional 1/4 cup of chocolate chips.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
