- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/4 cup gluten-free soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a bowl to make the sauce.
- Toss chicken pieces in half of the sauce and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
- Brush remaining sauce onto the chicken and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- Use chicken thighs for juicier results. Adjust cooking time for different thicknesses.
- Serve with steamed rice or stir-fried vegetables for a complete meal.
