Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a bowl to make the sauce.
  3. Toss chicken pieces in half of the sauce and let marinate for 10 minutes.
  4. Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
  6. Brush remaining sauce onto the chicken and cook for 2 more minutes.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
