- 1 pound lean ground turkey

- 1/2 cup tomato sauce

- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

- Salt and pepper to taste
- Whole wheat buns
- Fresh lettuce and diced tomatoes for topping
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey over medium heat until browned.
- Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic; cook until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper; simmer for 10 minutes.
- Toast the whole wheat buns slightly.
- Scoop the turkey mixture onto buns and top with lettuce and diced tomatoes.

- You can substitute ground chicken or beef for turkey.
- Add a splash of hot sauce for extra flavor.
