- 4 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine mushroom soup, milk, cheese, salt, and pepper to create the sauce.
- Mix green beans into the sauce until evenly coated.
- Pour mixture into a baking dish and bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle fried onions on top and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Can substitute fresh green beans with frozen if fresh are unavailable.
- For a healthier twist, use baked onion strings instead of fried onions.
