- 1 lb beef stew meat, cubed
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped

- 1 cup green beans
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown beef stew meat over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic; cook until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Add carrots, celery, potatoes, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 1-2 hours until beef and vegetables are tender.
- Add green beans in the last 10 minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot with crusty bread.

- You can substitute fresh green beans with frozen.
- For richer flavor, use homemade beef broth.
