- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Add asparagus to the skillet with remaining olive oil; cook for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return shrimp to the skillet, add lemon juice and zest, season with salt and pepper, and toss to combine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

- Best served immediately with additional lemon wedges.
- Adjust lemon and garlic quantities to taste.
