- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz lo mein or wheat noodles
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil, then pour into the skillet with beef.
- Simmer for 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet, toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add shredded carrots or bell peppers for extra vegetables.
- Use all-purpose or gluten-free noodles as preferred.
