  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips or chunks
  • Food coloring (orange, green)
  • Icing for decorating faces

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Cream butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla until fluffy. Gradually mix dry ingredients.
  3. Shape dough into balls, flatten slightly, and place on baking sheet.
  4. Insert chunks of milk chocolate into the center of each cookie, shaping around it.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Let cool.
  6. Decorate with icing to create spooky faces and add green stems for jack-o’-lanterns.
